If you want to study in the heart of Europe, Ukraine, we invite you to Mariupol State University. Here you can turn your knowledge into practice and gain a unique university experience! You will be in a multicultural environment among 25% of foreign students.
You can take one-year course of “Ukrainian as a foreign language” to prepare for admission to a bachelor's/master's program or to improve your language skills. We also offer you education in 30 accredited bachelor's and master's programs. The teaching process is conducted in Ukrainian.

The Buddy Program is a mentoring project focused on supporting those who need help with their first steps and understanding administrative procedures, learning the language, mastering academic programs, and establishing friendly relationships in a new environment.
The main goals of the Buddy Program are:
● improving the integration and adaptation phase for international students,
● developing the internationalization of Ukrainian students by promoting intercultural exchange and open-mindedness.
Do you want to meet young people from different countries and feel the international spirit? Do you know English or another foreign language? Do not hesitate, just come to the International Students Office and become a Buddy!
Who is a Buddy?
It is a person who is ready to help foreign students coming to Mariupol State University. The incoming students often need somebody who can get in touch with them before their arrival, or pick them up from the airport or a train station, help them to buy a bus or tram ticket, advise them on accommodation etc. The Buddy is a person who can show them the campus and provide assistance as regards organizational issues at university, especially at the beginning of the semester.

MSU community identifies further actions to support the results of INTERADIS project
At the end of August, representatives of the academic community of Mariupol State University visited Italy as part of the "Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students" (INTERADIS) project. The European partner university Foggia organised a training course on sustainable development in the city of Vieste.
MSU students completed internships in Germany in the frame of Erasmus+ project INTERADIS
The girls took part in a two-week internship at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden. The internship program included a series of lectures on self-development and the influence of youth in various fields. The participants studied the basics of leadership and management and explored the topics of multiculturalism and the transformation of the digital environment. Workshops became an equally important part of training. Their wide-ranging focus made it possible to delve into reflections on internationalization, culture, and ecology.
International students of MSU presented their culture at an international festival
MSU student Mahmud Deepu sang a song in Bengali - the boy recorded a video to take part in the festival. A creative presentation of Turkmenistan was made by students Babamyrat Rusdemov, Ilaman Niyazov and Akjagul Roziyeva. They spoke about folk customs and traditions, and complemented the performance by playing the folk instrument, hopuzi, and a poem by the second President of the country, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
International students of Mariupol State University learned about Christmas celebrations in Ukraine
The event provided insights into Ukrainian culture, exploring customs and traditions associated with Christmas, such as caroling, kutya, nativity scenes, generous songs, and didukh – significant symbols of the holiday reflecting the uniqueness of the Ukrainian people.
