Preparatory department for international students

Education for foreign citizens in bachelor's and master's degree programs at Mariupol State University is conducted in Ukrainian. If your knowledge is insufficient for admission and studying in Ukrainian, you can take a one-year course in Ukrainian language at the preparatory department.

Foreign citizens and stateless persons who have a document confirming full secondary education can apply to the preparatory department of Mariupol State University. The task of the preparatory department for foreigners is to teach foreign citizens Ukrainian language and prepare them for admission to MSU or other higher education institutions in Ukraine. During the course, you will also study Ukrainian history, cultural studies, Ukrainian and foreign literature, etc.

Enrolment at the preparatory department is conducted throughout the year.

The duration of study at the preparatory department is 10 months.

The cost of education is 28,000 UAH.

To enroll at the preparatory department, a foreigner must provide the following documents:

• original passport of a foreign citizen or document certifying statelessness;

• original document confirming previous education level and document with academic achievements (grades/credits, etc.);

• invitation to study.

Students who successfully graduated from the preparatory department for foreigners, receive a Graduation Certificate from Mariupol State University.
