Erasmus+ International academic mobility program

International academic mobility is studying at a foreign partner university of MSU for a certain period under certain conditions.

Its main types are:

Credit mobility - obtaining credits of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System and/or corresponding competencies or learning outcomes (these credits and learning outcomes are recognized by our university and transferred accordingly according to the Regulations on Academic Mobility);

Degree mobility - studying abroad to obtain a higher education degree, which is confirmed by a document (Diploma). Usually, these are Master's programs.

Academic mobility. Who is it for?

• Students of all levels of education (the best period is the 4th or 5th semester for bachelor's students, and the 2nd-3rd semester for master's students);

• Postgraduates;

• Teachers.

Academic mobility. Cost?

• At the expense of international programs, organizations, and funds;

• At the expense of higher education institutions (usually accepting universities);

• At the expense of individuals or legal entities

Students, postgraduates, and teachers can independently participate in competitions for scholarships for academic mobility and use MSU agreements to participate in academic mobility projects.

The Erasmus+ program allows students, postgraduates, and teachers of the University to undergo semester-long training/teaching in universities in EU countries and partner countries.

Currently, the following agreements on academic mobility are active:

• Academic Mobility Program with the University of Genoa (Italy)

• Academic Mobility Program with the University of Messina (Italy)

• Academic Mobility Program with Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania)

• Academic Mobility Program with the University of Alicante (Spain)

Every semester, a competition is announced for participation in international academic mobility programs, and students of full-time education and postgraduates of all specialties are invited to participate.
