Academic Council

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "About Higher Education" and the decision of the labor collective conference, the members of the Academic Council of MSU were approved by the Rector's Order.

The Academic Council works according to a plan that is developed for the current academic year. The plan is approved at the first meeting of the Academic Council.

Meetings of the Academic Council are held monthly according to the plan of meetings of the Academic Council. The meetings consider issues related to educational, methodological, scientific, educational work of departments, structural units, postgraduate studies, admission committee, results of competitions for filling vacancies of teaching staff, questions regarding awarding academic titles, etc.

The heads of departments, University vice-rectors and the scientific secretary of the Council control the implementation of decisions taken. If necessary, people responsible for a particular issue report to the Academic Council on how a particular decision was implemented.
