Foreign students from MSU presented their culture at an international festival

On 17 and 18 May, the Mariupol State University community took part in the festival "International Evenings" as part of the Erasmus+ project "Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students" (INTERADIS). The multicultural event was organized and carried out by the national coordinator of the project – KROC University.

The members of the project team, specialists in working with foreign students from the Center for International Education, Maria Kustikova and Danylo Yegorenko, as well as six foreign students from Turkmenistan, India, Nigeria and Bangladesh took part in the event.

The young people delighted the audience with national songs, dances and poems as well as stories about the originality of their countries. MSU student Mahmud Deepu sang a song in Bengali - the boy recorded a video to take part in the festival. A creative presentation of Turkmenistan was made by students Babamyrat Rusdemov, Ilaman Niyazov and Akjagul Roziyeva. They spoke about folk customs and traditions, and complemented the performance by playing the folk instrument, hopuzi, and a poem by the second President of the country, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
