MSU students completed an internship in Germany under INTERADIS project
Zoya Kravets and Khrystyna Sabadash, students of the educational program "Cultural Studies, Organization of Cultural and Leisure Activities" from Mariupol State University, participated in the project "Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students" (INTERADIS). The girls took part in a two-week internship at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden.
The internship program included a series of lectures on self-development and the influence of youth in various fields. The participants studied the basics of leadership and management and explored the topics of multiculturalism and the transformation of the digital environment. Workshops became an equally important part of training. Their wide-ranging focus made it possible to delve into reflections on internationalization, culture, and ecology.
At the painting workshop, we created pictures with a deep meaning and presented them to the audience. During another event called "Green Office", we discussed how the youth may come together to solve the problems of recycling, the carbon footprint, as well as the local achievement of global goals, such as ending famine through volunteerism and self-governance,
– says Zoya Kravets, a student of Mariupol State University.
Among other things, the girls got acquainted with the region's culture by visiting the historical sights of Germany. Excursions to the cities of Bavaria were organized for guests of the country.
Most of all, as a cultural expert, I liked Nuremberg – a historic and quite authentic city. In general, I did enjoy this trip, in particular, it was interesting to communicate and spend time with students from different parts of the world, to attend educational activities and outstanding places with them. Also, I was able to improve my knowledge of the English language and get inspired to learn German,
– says a student of MSU Khrystyna Sabadash.
