Legal consultation
Legislation during wartime is dynamic and changes rapidly, making it difficult for ordinary citizens to understand it, but legal consultation should be available to every member of the community. That is why our Legal Clinic provides different services in the form of counseling, information, and document preparation free of charge.
Consultations are provided in all areas of law by senior students of the law faculty of MSU under the guidance of leading teachers and practicing lawyers. The activity of the Legal Clinic contributes to the process of improving the legal culture of citizens, improving the quality of free legal services in Ukraine, and providing targeted legal assistance to socially vulnerable citizens. The quality of legal assistance is ensured by a special system of student training and individual curator control.
The legal clinic is equally useful for both the community and the students themselves, as it performs both social and educational functions:
- formation of professional responsibility
- additional training of practical legal skills of a lawyer and their improvement in the process of providing legal assistance
- individual professional specialization of future lawyers
- adaptation to the conditions and requirements of practical activities
- application of norms of professional ethics in dilemmas that inevitably arise, different types of conflicts of interest
- ensuring a quick start in the profession.
