Department of англійської філології та прикладних студій
Department of English Philology and Applied Studies is a modern scientific and educational center introducing advanced methods of teaching foreign languages and world literature into secondary and higher schools. The philological community combines the classical tradition with up-to-date teaching technologies and works at the junction of linguistics, translation and literary studies, cultural science, psychology, media communications and digital humanitaristics.
The department implements interdisciplinary research in the field of humanities, arts and social scientific domains, forms an environment of creative experiment and academic freedom, supports international cooperation and academic mobility. The strategic priority is development of scientific and creative potential of instructors and students as well as their participation in research projects, conferences, seminars and innovative educational programs.
