MSU team attends final meeting of INTERADIS project
Mariupol State University has implemented another initiative as part of the Erasmus+ programme. Before the full-scale invasion, the MSU community joined the consortium of Ukrainian and European educational institutions to implement the project «Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students» (INTERADIS).
The final meeting of the teams took place at the Netherlands Business Academy at the end of October. The Invincible University was presented by Tetyana Marena, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Educational Affairs, Inna Arakelova, Associate Professor of Marketing and Tourism Department, and Danylo Egorenko, Senior Specialist of the Department for Work with Foreign Students of the Centre for International Education.
An extensive programme awaited the educators during the week: In addition to the coordinators' working meetings and the presentation of the project results, there were lectures on leadership and interactive games. Informal activities enabled the development of interaction skills in a multicultural environment and to understand the importance of non-verbal communication for the perception of information and the building of trust.
All project partners signed the inter-university agreement during the final meeting, which emphasises its importance. It provides for the continuation of cooperation in maintaining academic, scientific and cultural activities aimed at the integration and adaptation of foreign students in Ukraine.
