“International Students Adaptation and Integration”

Project Duration: November 15, 2020 - November 14, 2024.

Financial assistance from EU: European Neighbourhood Instrument (Erasmus+KA2 CBHE)

EU Grant: 986,731€.

The undertaking's objective: by means of academic, cultural, ethnic, and social values, assist international pupils in assimilating into the educational spheres of Europe and Ukraine.

The following are the responsibilities of the project:

- Construct and execute a Roadmap encompassing every facet of foreign student adaptation and integration.

- In order to enhance the standard of instruction and administration services provided to international students.

- Enhance the credentials of personnel in administrative and scientific roles.

- In order to foster an international culturally inclusive and tolerant atmosphere within Ukrainian institutions of higher education.

- The objective is to distribute the findings of the initiative to Ukrainian institutions of higher education.

 

Anticipated outcomes:

• Construction of the Roadmap, encompassing every facet of the process of assimilating international students.

• Qualified personnel.

• Enhancing educational standards and delivering administrative support.

• Establishing a conducive atmosphere for international scholars.

• The delivery of the project's findings.

Foreign students from MSU presented their culture at an international festival
The Mariupol State University community took part in the festival "International Vechornytsi" as part of the Erasmus+ project "Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students" (INTERADIS). Student Mahmud Deepu sang a song in Bengali - the boy recorded a video. A creative presentation of Turkmenistan was made by students Babamyrat Rusdemov, Ilaman Niyazov and Akjagul Roziyeva. They spoke about folk customs and traditions, and complemented the performance by playing the folk instrument, hopuzi, and a poem by the second President of the country, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

MSU students completed an internship in Germany under INTERADIS project
Zoya Kravets and Khrystyna Sabadash, students of the educational program "Cultural Studies, Organization of Cultural and Leisure Activities" from Mariupol State University, participated in the project "Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students" (INTERADIS). The girls took part in a two-week internship at the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden.
