Музей історії та археології
The Museum of History and Archaeology of Mariupol University was established in 2016 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the invincible university. As a result of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the museum’s collection that amounted to more than 500 exhibits was destroyed.
After the university was relocated to Kyiv, the academic community made a decision to resume the museum’s activity and to create a virtual platform. Like the physical museum, it will display the history of Mariupol University, preserve the memory of Mariupol residents of their identity and facilitate the university’s vision as an ambassador for Mariupol in Ukraine and around the world.
