MSU community presents its INTERADIS project results
Mariupol State University is involved in one of the international projects «Integration and Adaptation of Foreign Students» (INTERADIS), which is in the final stage of development. At the beginning of October, the MSU community took part in a partner event in Rivne to share experiences.
The Invincible University was presented by the Head of the Department for Work with Foreign Students of the Centre for International Education, Lidia Shevchenko, and the department's specialists, Maria Kustikova and Danylo Yegorenko. Anna Pavlyuk and Mykyta Gorbashevsky took part in the interactive programme for students.
During the three days, the partners shared their experiences. Lidia Shevchenko, who took part in the event online, gave a speech on behalf of the Invincible University project team. She spoke about the positive structural and pedagogical changes in the university, including the more targeted work with foreign students and the development of language skills in the academic community.
A joint compilation of good practices for the integration and adaptation of foreign students and recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, developed by the Ukrainian partners of the project, was also presented at the event.
As part of the event, the students participated in team-building trainings, tours of the university and the city, as well as meetings with representatives of the student government and foreign students. They also took part in a quest, a quiz and a fact-checking game. All activities were aimed at the integration of the young people into the student environment and their adaptation during interactive activities.
