MSU lecturers studied the Polish design experience and developed a collaboration
Mariupol State University continues to participate in activities within the framework of the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) project "Bridge to the Future". In order to improve their professional skills, educators took part in the Academy of Project Management held from 17 to 22 June.
Representatives from higher education institutions from Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Sweden, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine participated in this intensive training program. The Invincible University team comprised the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Nataliya Pyrlik, members of the Marketing and Tourism Department: Professor Andrii Stoyka, Associate Professors Inna Arakelova and Anton Lysyutin, Associate Professor of the Management and Finance Department Olena Suzdaleva, Lecturer of the Department of Rational Use of Nature and Environmental Protection Iryna Petryk, Employee of the Scientific Library Polina Kostrulina and the leading specialist of the of Information and Public Relations Department Nataliya Stoyka.
In the first days of the Academy, participants attended events at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The representatives of academic communities were informed about the possibilities of writing grants, forming consortia, and establishing connections between universities and their structures to create groups for project implementation.
The final activities of the Academy were field trips to the Polish village of Bystra. MSU representatives studied the rules for creating project applications: how to find funding sources and what documents are needed to receive a grant or scholarship.
Using the opportunity, the Invincible University team took cooperation with its strategic partner Silesian University to a new level. Joint initiatives for the further collaboration of English and German philology departments and projects for future implementation were discussed. The closest and most important project is the opening of the Mariupol State University Center based on a Polish partner university.
