'An example of spirit and courage' MSU students impressed US Secretary of State

The community of Mariupol State University welcomed many distinguished guests. Among them is US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. He is currently completing his term in office and recalls the people he met on his professional path who particularly impressed him.

The diplomat visited the front office of the university in May 2024 during his working visit to Ukraine. He talked to the community of the Invincible University, Rector Mykola Trofymenko and students. The young people shared with the Secretary of State their life stories related to the loss of their home and studying amid war.

Anthony Blinken was deeply touched by what he heard because, despite the difficult challenges, students from Mariupol University do not stop learning their chosen profession and moving towards their dreams.

When the Secretary of State called our university an example of spirit and courage, it gave all of us, and me personally, a powerful impetus to keep going forward and make even more efforts to support our country and the future generation,
