Roundtable Summary: Relocated Women Entrepreneurs' Businesses in Ukraine and the UK

At the premises of Mariupol State University, in collaboration with Cambridge Judge Business School (UK) and with the support of Cambridge University’s Research England Policy Support Fund, UKRI, we successfully held the roundtable discussion "Relocated Women Entrepreneurs' Businesses in Ukraine and the UK under Forced Displacement: Challenges and Support."

Following the welcoming remarks by Mykola Trofymenko, Rector of Mariupol State University, and Professor Andrei Kirilenko of Cambridge Judge Business School, Professor Anna Chechel, a researcher at Cambridge Judge Business School and Head of the Department of Public Administration at MSU, shared a presentation on the research findings with the participants.

The event brought together academics, government representatives, civil society organizations, and business communities to discuss the pressing challenges and opportunities for integrating Ukrainian women entrepreneurs into new socio-economic environments. The open discussion of challenges, opportunities, and support mechanisms for women’s entrepreneurship in Ukraine and the UK helped build a foundation for future cross-sector collaboration in social entrepreneurship.
