New Bachelor Degree Program with Lithuanian Partner
Mariupol State University, together with its strategic partner, Vytautas Magnus University, continues to strengthen its international cooperation. Sharing common interests, the two educational institutions are launching a dual-degree bachelor program in Information Technologies.
The program will be taught in English, although some courses will be available in Ukrainian or Lithuanian. Accordingly, applicants to Mariupol University must have a foreign language level of at least B1. For those applying to Vytautas Magnus University, the required English proficiency level is B2.
"From the first year, students will be deeply immersed in the world of information technology, studying object-oriented programming languages, acquiring data analysis skills, working with artificial intelligence, and much more. MSU students will also have the opportunity to study some courses at Vytautas Magnus University through academic or virtual mobility, and when preparing their thesis, they will be able to choose academic supervisors from both universities," says Hanna Martyniuk, Acting Head of the Department of Systems Analysis and Information Technologies at MSU.
The dual-degree program will follow the traditional four-year (eight-semester) structure. Students who successfully complete the program will receive two diplomas: a bachelor degree in Systems Analysis from Mariupol University and a bachelor degree in Informatics (Computer Science) from Vytautas Magnus University.
