MSU Launches Training for Change Agents under the BIKE-HEI Project
Mariupol State University continues to implement the project “Boosting Innovation and Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship in Higher Education Institutions” (BIKE-HEI).
During the Transform4Europe Alliance of European Universities’ events, held this year in Kaunas, participants in the international initiative gathered to report on current progress and outline the next steps. The meeting was attended by the BIKE-HEI coordinator from Mariupol State University, the Director of the Center for International Education, Iryna Sikorska, and the Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Tourism, Inna Arakelova.
The coordination meeting brought together representatives from all participating universities to discuss the launch of the training programs — a key goal of the project. Each course aims to enhance skills for developing change agents among students, academic, and administrative staff.
The training programs have already gained significant attention due to their relevance. Over 500 applicants registered for the student course alone, as reported by BIKE-HEI project implementers during the presentation. The Mariupol University team engaged not only the resilient university community but also representatives from other Ukrainian educational institutions, while expanding the stakeholder network to support the project. As a result, the university will operate a full-fledged ecosystem promoting the development of green entrepreneurship.
The next meeting is scheduled for December 10, when the partners will gather in Slovenia to discuss the start of the second phase of the project, set to begin in the new year.
