MSU establishes partnership with Cambridge University

To establish cooperation, the academic community of Mariupol State University traveled to England for a working visit to the University of Cambridge.

MSU was represented in the UK by Rector Mykola Trofymenko, Director of the Center for International Education Iryna Sikorska, Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Management Denys Tarasenko, and Head of the Department of Public Management and Administration Anna Chechel.

Throughout the week, the academic staff of the invincible university got to know their British colleagues and met with students from Ukraine. While exploring the educational space, the representatives of Mariupol University were impressed by the library, a large-scale collection of nine million copies, including books about Ukraine. To replenish the collection, they presented the partners with a photo album ‘Chronicle of the Russian – Ukrainian War’ by Serhiy Vahanov.

The meetings were very intense and inspiring. We discussed business education for veterans, military personnel, internally displaced persons and refugees; programs for local government and community representatives focusing on reconstruction, investment attraction and management of large infrastructure projects. We are grateful to our colleagues for their support and desire to strengthen us,

– says Mykola Trofymenko, Rector of Mariupol State University
