Associate professor at Mariupol State University will develop a training course based on a European grant

International programmes of the European Union provide an opportunity for educators of Mariupol State University to integrate into the European space through teaching and research activities. Thanks to the grant support, Inna Arakelova, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Tourism, will develop a training course based on best practices.

Last month, the European Commission selected the winners of the Jean Monet Erasmus+ programme. Among them is the project " Digitalization, Digital Education, and Migration Processes: Experience of the European Union for Ukraine’ (DEMEu4U). The initiative from Alfred Nobel University will be implemented with the participation of experts from the National Technical University "Dnipro Polytechnic" and Mariupol University.

The project team was formed by experts in the fields of marketing and economics – professors Inna Strelchenko, Viktoriya Smyesova and associate professor Inna Arakelova. As early as September, they will begin to implement this idea over the next three years.

DEMEu4U provides for the development and further teaching of an interdisciplinary educational course. It will introduce applicants to the benefits, opportunities, and risks of digital education as well as the migration of digital services, technologies, and skills. Online professional development hackathons are planned.

After successfully mastering the knowledge and skills of the course, the students will receive certificates.
