Ambassador of Invincibility in Great Britain
Mariupol University has been working successfully with the University of Hull for a year and a half.
The partnership began thanks to the Twinning Initiative, which aims to build British-Ukrainian relations to sustain higher education in Ukraine.
During this time, the UK university has provided extensive support to Mariupol University in Kyiv and promoted its positive image abroad.
The University of Mariupol received financial support from the University of Hull to provide comfortable living conditions in the dormitory and humanitarian assistance for the restoration of facilities and resources. In addition, the MSU community was able to improve the level of English language skills with the help of British colleagues.
During a working mission to the UK, the Rector of MSU, Mykola Trofymenko, on behalf of the invincible staff, awarded the University of Hull, in the person of Dave Petley, the Vice-Chancellor of the educational institution, and Hilary Leighton, the Executive Director of Global Strategy, with the title of Ambassador of Mariupol University.
The University of Hull is one of the first institutions to be awarded this title. Thank you for your reliable support, your impeccable work, and your commitment! Likewise, we would like to express our gratitude to Ms. Hilary, thanks to whom this cooperation began,
– MSU Rector, Mykola Trofymenko.
