MSU builds partnerships to implement infrastructure projects

The community of Mariupol State University dreams big — to preserve the people and the identity of their native region. To achieve this, the resilient university seeks like-minded partners and those who are willing to help others.

With this mission, MSU Vice-Rector for Development and Infrastructure Viktor Halkovskyi traveled to Warsaw to participate in the international exhibition and conference Rebuild Ukraine. The event brought together experts from 45 countries with the shared goal of restoring Ukraine’s economy. Special attention was given to critical infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, and housing, key areas that russia continues to target with destructive strikes.

During meetings with representatives of leading foreign companies, Viktor Halkovskyi had an opportunity to present MSU initiatives, the first is “Unbreakable Campus of the Invincible University”, a project focused on building a modern and inclusive academic campus. The second initiative is “MSU Village”, a concept for creating a comfortable living environment for academic staff and their families within the Kotsiubynske territorial community.

As a result of participation, new partnerships were established for future cooperation, exchange of technical solutions, and involvement in the implementation of the university’s infrastructure projects.

Among positive results, we agreed on cooperation with an Austrian company, and representatives of Japanese companies also expressed readiness to join in making our dreams a reality. It is encouraging to see these initiatives receive support. This is an important step toward rebuilding the educational environment of Mariupol and creating a modern space for students and staff,

— notes MSU Vice-Rector Viktor Halkovskyi.
