International Political Science School held at MSU

On March 4-6, the Spring Political Science School was held at Mariupol State University, bringing together schoolchildren, tertiary education students, and leading experts from Ukraine, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland.

The organizer of the international educational event was the Department of Political Science and International Relations of Mariupol State University under the initiative of Associate Professor Serhiy Pakhomenko and with the special assistance of Associate Professor Anastasia Trofymenko.

Representatives from Vytautas Magnus University, University of Silesia in Katowice, University of Tartu, Estonian Military Academy, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine supported the event.

The educational program included lectures, workshops, and group discussions. Participants delved into topics such as information wars, the Baltic countries, and the challenges posed by the Russian-Ukrainian war for them personally and for European security. On the final day, discussions focused on the concept of resilience, reflecting Ukrainian society today, and the place of Ukraine within the European Union from a theoretical perspective.

All participants received certificates of attendance at the Spring Political Science School.
